Superfood or Superthreat
By Kathlyn Gay
Most of the books available about biotechnology are written by activists opposed to the use of this technology. This book is a rare exception. The author has accurately presented the opposition's issues against genetic engineering and then presented the opposing viewpoint using the scientific evidence refuting those claims. This is exactly the type of book that we should include in classrooms and libraries all across the United States. It presents the issues and facts in an amazingly objective manner. This author is to be commended. The book provides information sources, a glossary, and references for further research.
