Our Foundation is honored to support communities with a focus on agricultural literacy through grants and awards. Thanks to the generous support of partners and donors we offer a number of opportunities and recognitions. By investing in and honoring individuals we seek to propel our overall community towards greater achievements. White-Reinhardt Grants

The White-Reinhardt Grant Program funds projects that will increase agricultural literacy. The White-Reinhardt Fund for Education is a special project of the Foundation in cooperation with the AFB Women’s Leadership Committee.

White-Reinhardt Scholarships

This scholarship program is to provide travel expense funds to attend the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference and then use the information gained to expand their outreach to students regarding food, fiber and fuel.

Christina Sue Lilja Resource Grants provides funds for educators to purchase ag literacy resources from the Ag Foundation store.

Foundation Leader Awards

Winners receive an award plaque and recognition at our Flapjack Fundraiser at the AFBF Annual Convention.  The Scholar Award, The Apex Award, State Leader Awards, Challenge awards, and County Leader Awards.

Book of the Year Award

Each year we award one exceptional accurate ag book with our coveted "Book of the Year" title. That book will be celebrated at our Flapjack Fundraiser, and have classroom curriculum developed to add value to the book. The book will be promoted for an entire year through all of our channels.
