The Bee Tree

This work of fiction would be a great way to introduce students to bees. It also extols the virtues of reading. The adventure of chasing the bee back to its hive (the bee tree) provides a romp for a variety of people and animals as they join in the chase. That chase ends, of course, by gathering and eating the honey.
