The Story of Orange Juice
By Lisa Trumbauer
This early reader book has about three sentences per page. Vocabulary words are bold and a glossary defines those words in the back of the book. The content is accurate and for an early reader book tells the story very well. The text would be very useful to teach life cycle, pollination, and pollinators using oranges as the topic. It also contains good nutritional information and could be used to teach a sequential process in meeting human needs in social studies.
